Experience
In my previous role I was a English teacher at a preschool in Hong Kong. I was responsible for delivering creative learning and play activities to up to 25 children aged two-to-six. I also worked with other teachers to help craft the centre’s curricula. I have developed strong skills in creating fun and interactive learning activities and materials, observing and reporting on child development and conduct, and developing solid rapport with children, families and staff. In addition to being a very organised teacher, I am creative and enthusiastic, and sensitive to children’s individual needs. I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as solid computer skills. After the preschool finished for summer I worked for Uniserve Language continuing my passion for teaching by tutoring English classes of up to 15 children aged six-to-eleven. I planned the lessons to fit the child's abilities and to challenge them in learning their second language. Again I put into practice my knowledge of reporting on the child's development and discussing it with the child and parent. I hold a year of experience in teaching children, whilst currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
